5 years are a history - Die-Buch-Bar-Story goes on! It was a great birthday week-end and we thank all which have sent us congratulations which were present personally and which will come again in future!

Our birthday-literature riddle turned on four times four paws.

The author in request is ERICH KÄSTNER. He lived with four cats in Munich. Many answers contained not only the name of the author, but also the names of his cat's Anna, Lollo, Pola and Butschi. Also without skyline of Munich and the quotation … as me in the evening on the patio to my four cats some chapter read. if most had cracked the riddle.

Many thanks for active taking part. 122 right answers fluttered to us in the house. The first e-mail already came few minutes after the publication of the riddle. Although the answer was right, Kathrin had plumber from Berlin with the drawing of the profits no luck. We find, this fixed answer is worth a consolation prize: our nicest cat's bookmark.

A book for a book: With a special meeting place for all book-lovers the accommodation 7 invites for staying, to good reads and contacts attach. The book Bar has reshaped her entrance to books (exchange) cell. The tiny self-service library functions after the principle: Take a book, bring a book.
Donators had provided already the day before for a basic equipment with 164 books: The golden beetle of Edgar Al in Poe stood in the shelve, or also from Henning Mankell The return of the dancing instructor. Agatha Christie was immediately represented with seven volumes. Who does not read so with pleasure crime films, maybe reached to a Charly-Chaplin biography of Georges Sadoul or took to themselves the cult book of Joachim Wohlgemuth Egon and the eighth Wonder of the World or Harry Potter in the Originalsprache.
Many literature friends had got to know from the newspaper from the project and came with barter books and book donations. Humorous reading rounds with texts of Axel Hacke and Horst Evers killed the time if it became too narrow in the cell occasionally sometimes.
The book stock changes with every use. The first continuance  was exchanged on the week-end almost completely. This inspires to call in more often sometimes to discover new. The book cell is accessible during the opening times of the accommodation 7: on Mondays until on Fridays from 10 to 18 o'clock and on Saturdays from 10 to 16 o'clock.

Our entrance is freshly cleaned. To this wall we will paint a big bookshelf. How it will possibly look, we have briefly outlined on a chalk board.
