This illustration comes from the graphic artist Richard Gutschmidt for the girl's story »villa of familiar home« from Berta Clemént (union German publishing company society, Stuttgart/Berlin/Leipzig, approx. in 1010). Gutschmidt as the first German illustrator was known by Doyle's Sherlock cross-beam fiction.
The very well preserved book stood since Saturday in our book exchange cell – and today is again a wide-walked.
